Prego

I am ready for this baby to come and I still have 2 more months...exactly. Being pregnant is not my favorite. This baby rolls and rolls and kicks and punches and people keep thinking I am due like 6 weeks before I am. Bleh.

Home Again

There is a consignment furniture store in Sugarhouse and West Jordan called Home Again that I just love. I found this picture painted on silk for our living room for $20, and this sweet plane for our baby room. We want to find a few more of these and paint them and hang them over baby's crib at different heights kinda like a mobile. I'm so excited I found these!

Halloween

We aren't a big fan of parties but we do like dressing up. For Halloween we had Emily and Brian over and watched scary movies in costume. I highly recommend Trick R Treat for future halloween enjoyment. Sunny and I were Bonnie and Joe Swanson from Family Guy.

Colorado

We went to Pueblo, Colorado and hung out with Sunny's brother Spencer, his wife Sandy and their 3 kids this last weekend. It was fun. Spencer and Sunny golfed 18, and Sandy and I saw a lame/good chic flick - Love Happens. We also discovered the joys of Popeyes and ate at a really cool italian restaurant that was outside by the river walk in downtown Pueblo.

On Sunday we went to Pike's Peak which was actually kind of a scary drive. It was really high, can't remember the altitude but higher than our mountains,. The road was a single lane, really twisty and turny with no barrier or anything lining the road. Here are some pics of the Pike's Peak adventure.

Garcia James Wedding

Alician and Nate tied the not last weekend and now she is gone and moved away to Seattle. :( Their wedding was really pretty. Allison did an awesome job putting it all together and thinking it up.

Just a few more updates

We are having a boy but don't have a name decided on yet.

Whitney and Josh moved back to Tennesse and I miss them and their cutie little Millie! Here she is learning to walk like a pro at only 9.5 months:

Real Game

Our friends Alician and Nate took us to the Real Game on August 9. We took a series of the most unattractive pictures possible.

Allison with her eyes have closed. Apparently when a camera is pointed at Allison and normal people smile, she closes one eye half way and looks crookedly out of the other one.

I'm not really sure what to say or explain about this one.

There is really no hope for a cute picture of Alician and I together.

Navajo Lake Cabin Trip

I need to play some catch up. Sunny and took my less adventerous parents to the Beck family cabin with his parents for some good out doorsy fun. We went fishing and four wheeling and hiking and ate some delicious dutch oven. I experienced my first dose of excessive prego related sleepiness and wasn't a fan.

Baby inside

So I don't know who all reads this blog...and probably most of you already know. But just incase you don't...there is a baby inside me. It is suposed to come out on January 22, 2010. I will be in my 30th year. Weird. All of these things are weird. Here is a picture of the delightful little bean. It is about 1 inch long in this picture.

And it has been good to me...a little nauseous, but never actually sick. Not really tired. No more cravings than usual. Just an excuse for having a gut. Life is good so far!

4th of July

My Mom's side of the fam had a family reunion in Bear Lake this weekend. We headed up on Thursday after work and headed back Friday night. We attempted to paddle a paddle boat, but it defeated us. We had to abandon ship about a mile from our beach site cause we couldn't take it anymore. We did get some good play time with Whitney's baby Millie.




On Saturday, Sunny, Drew (our brother and sister in law are staying with us) and I played Tennis. We saw Ice Age 3 which was kinda boring, and then watched fireworks on our roof at night. The fireworks were sweet and about a block from our place.

This is the 6th picture from my 6th folder. Apparently this is what all the cool kids are posting. This is me and Sunny at Raging Waters when we were dating like 3 years ago. Fun times.

California Dreams

We went to Newport Beach from May 15th - May 24th. It was so fun. We went down with about 8 of our friends and stayed in a beach house about 3 blocks from the beach. We hung out on the beach, went to knottsberry, saw a Dodgers game and then hung out on the beach some more. We got to see my friend Andrea and her two adorable girls. We were also in a 5.0 earthquake which was kinda fun and weird.

Sunny and Brian caught star fish and peeled them off of the rocks. There was a sand shark about a foot away from me in the ocean which was freaky and I got out of the water and didn't get back in. Luckily it happened on the last day of the trip so I enjoyed it until then.

We went to the La Brea tarpits and saw lots and lots of bones.

There was a lady behind us who was scared of heights and was holding on for dear life to the railing expecting to fall into the field. It was funny.

On Saturday we headed down to San Diego and stayed with Sunny's sister and her fam. We went to a lighthouse and did some shopping.

Also, apparently I have no pictures of Colbie, Ben or Kim, or their little girl on this trip. So apologies to those not recognized in this post.

Mountains

I'm a little behind on posting. On May 10th Me, Sunny, Emily, Brian and Mitch went to the mountains. We had a bon fire and roasted hot dogs and smores. It was good times.

Cinco De Mustache

Sunny grew a mustache in honor of Cinco de Mayo. Very attractive.

Dreamy

Tonight we took my parents to The Atlantic downtown (this is a delicious cheap restaurant with jerk service). Then we went to the Jazz vs. the Clippers. It was my Dad's birthday present. He had never been to a Jazz game before and had never even been in the Delta Center/ESA whatever.

I just love Millsap.

Also, I need to report my dream quickly as well...I dreamed I got a job at Omniture again (I worked there years ago) and I saw the 2 owners there and they were all excited to see me. The chubby bald one gave me a hug but I was talking while he hugged me so I ended up biting his neck a bit. It was very awkward and in the dream I felt awkward, and all day long I felt awkward about it.

Happy Birthday Dad and Lea!

today is my Dad's birthday, and my friend Leanna's. we celebrated my Dad's birthday yesterday with delicious dinner at my parents.

today Sunny's sister Tiffany, hubby Drew, and kids Skyler and Summer came into town. we went to the pie and watched the championship game. unfortunately NC won so I am second place in my office bracket. bleh. i guess i can't argue too much about being second though.

Bears and Movies

friday night we went to Cafe Trio with our friends Allison and Nate and then to see Sunshine Cleaning. saturday morning we drove downtown and got delicious donuts from Banbury Cross. at night we ate at Su Casa and saw Adventureland. Adventureland is one of my new favorite movies. i loved it.




last night i had a way weird dream. i dreamed we were at my Granny and Papa's house for Christmas and apparently they had a pet bear. evidently my Granny got the bear when he was just a cub and raised the bear for 2 years. then in August two and a half years before the dream took place the bear left my Granny's house and walked to an abandoned cabin in the mountains and raised a family. then the bear came back and showed up on the porch this blessed Chrismas morn.

April Fools

Today was a good day cause i got lots of free food.

I am watching Chuck right now. My favorite shows on TV right now are Chuck, Scrubs, Lost, American Idol, Pushing Daisies, and Dollhouse.

Some other things about me...

• I do Netflix and watch an average of 1 movie per day
• I am currently writing about 5 different novels...none of which i will probably ever finish
• I am usually hungry

Myn Dog Walk All Over Me

I am the Miamaid advisor in our ward. Last night we had an "unbirthday party". We drew names, went to the dollar store and had to pick out something metaphorically meaningful for the person we drew. I got Laura a wrestling action figure because she is freaking buff.

Mackenzie had me. She got me a bra with animal prints all over it because i "supported her, and lifted her up". It was hilarious. Possibly my favorite part about it is that on the tag it says, "Hecho en Mexico" and printed on the bra are the words "Myn dog walk all over me".

This is great on so many levels.

The Usual

Tonight I made peppersteak sandwiches and then we did our usual routine of sitting in separate rooms, watching TV, and taking turns on attack.

Sunny watched the Jazz beat the Knicks, and Keifer Sutherland get naked and save the united states from itself while running and hiding from united states officials...same old same old.

I watched Spaced. Spaced is a really weird british show with Simon Pegg and Jessica something or other. It makes no sense. Its good.

And this is why I don't normally post more than 1 a year.
