Half a Buddy

Ollie turned half, or 6 months yesterday. According to the doc his head has grown lots and the rest of him hasn't as much. He was 90% for height and weight and now is 75%. His head was 70% and now is 90%. He weighs 19.3 lbs and is 27 inches long.

Some of Ollie's favorite things include:

Cali Casualties

The last post were the positive parts on the trip, now for the less pleasant aspects.

On the way home as we pulled out of Baker the AC randomly stopped working. This sucked because:

a) It was Saturday at 5:00 so everything was about to close and wouldn't be open until Monday

b) It was between 108 - 112 degrees outside

c) We were 1.5 hours from the closest city with a repair shop

d) Poor Ollie almost got heat stroke

e) Its going to cost about 1300 to fix

f) We ended up driving 3 hours to St George in sweltering heat and then waking up at 4am this morning to finish the heat trek to SLC

We stayed at Sunny's parent's house (who are out of town on a cruise) which was nice and cool, but their cat struggles and I counted as many as 9 stray poos on the floor that didn't make it to the litter box...tasty treats.

And since we are on the subject of poo or "messy" as we like to call it...Ollie pooed like 3 times in California and so far today he has pooed 5 TIMES since 10 am...that is a messy messy gassy grossy buddy. I think he has pooed out half his body weight.

Calication

We just got back from a week in San Diego staying with Sunny's sis Tiffany and her fam. Ollie was not a big fan of the ocean, but he LOVED the pool and his new tube. He would lean over and just blow spit bubbles on his tube and laugh and it was good.

Sunny spent the whole time throwing Summer and Skyler in the pool and they perfected the double gainer.

On Friday we headed up to Newport for one of my oldest friends weddings. Niki and Pete got married in the Newport Temple and then had a delicious dinner on the coast. It was fun to see Niki again but now she will be heading back to DC after her honeymoon so that is lame. However, Leanna (the 3rd wheel of our high school trio) will be moving to SLC by August 1 and I am excited to have her back and hopefully lots of great tennis along with her!

After the wedding on Friday we crashed at Dre and Spencer's cute house in Santa Monica. Her little girls are adorable and her new babe (also a cutie) and Ollie had their first of hopefully many play dates. It consisted of Ollie poking his finger in Adam's mouth and Adam staring at Ollie and his spazzy arm movements.

I didn't get any pics, but Dre has some and hopefully will post them on her blog shortly... (hint hint... :))

The Buddy and The King

Lorena is in town visiting and we got together and had the babes play. I forgot to take pics until Ollie was already in the car seat and I was too lazy to take him out, but here they are just bro-ing down. Notice how Ollie's head looks bigger but that is just because it is 1-dimensional and is flat. Poor baby.

Usually Lindsey doesn't really look tons like any of us but she does in this pic...anyone that knows my fam agree??

Ollie has been crying so much lately (cause we are trying to get him to sleep through the night) that I can hear him crying even when he isn't.

4th of July

We went to Sunny's cabin this weekend and went 4 wheeling, hiking, fishing and what not. We saw the firework show at Brianhead and it was great. Ollie should have been asleep but was wide awake and loving it instead. This is a random video with dumb talking, but I just thought it was so cute how Ollie kept looking all around and his cheeks look extra droopy and juicy and good.
