2nd and Strand

My old roommate and lovely friend Andrea has a new design blog called 2nd and Strand. The blog is done by her and another of her design friends. The idea is that people can submit rooms in their house to them and they will give decoration/renovation recommendations. I submitted our office to her and she just featured it and gave some great advice. A Few Months Ago We Moved

We moved the last week of June to Daybreak/South Jordan. We bought an actual house this time with a yard and yard work and a garage - 3 car, its nice. Here are some pics. We are still working on furnishing the house and fixing the yard, but since its been 3 months I thought I'd post what we have so far. :)

 Note the lovely patio on the below picture and the pumpkins on the porch - homegrown in our back yard! :)

Entry way - there is a living room on the right but it has dumb leftover furniture in it now, and an office on the left that we are still decorating. Will post pics later.

Here's our master bedroom. The goal is to get a bigger TV, a full length gold framed mirror for one side wall, and develop the below picture that Tracy took (below) on canvas for the opposite wall.

and a dumb self took picture to show that I am definitely pregnant...thus the reason I loved last weeks post where I for some reason looked baby free.

Ollie has been so fun to play with lately. He loves to point at everything and tell me what it is. He loves to find "moms" and "babies" and "big" and "tiny" things. If we say 1,2,3 he will say 4,5,6 - most of the time at least. He started being cuddly around 10 months and has gotten cuddlier and cuddlier. He will just wander up to me and give me a good hug randomly. He loves to cozy his "Bee" - aka blanket - too. He has gotten really clingy to me which is sometimes annoying, but sometimes really cute. I am getting really excited for little girl to come, but also kind of sad because I will miss playing with Ollie all day. I also am not a lover of newborns. They are scary and weird. 

Also, I broke down and got a petunia picklebottom diaper bag instead of making one. We had a $50 gift card to nordstrom so it was easier to justify. Plus its way cute and will hopefully last me forever!
