One post at a time...

So I kinda slacked in the blogger world lately. I finally uploaded the pictures off my phone onto my computer so get ready for a whole slew of posts.

In March we got a bit creative and found some fun things to do indoors:

We got memberships to the Living Planet Aquarium and went lots. Ollie can now do the sign for fish but his favorite things at the aquarium are the buttons you can push to hear the frogs calls.

We celebrated St. Patricks Day with some classic Green Eggs and Ham, Green Hash Browns, and Green French toast. (For any high school friends...maybe we need to get together for St Patrick's Day Girls Day again and restart the tradition...)

We went shopping at South Towne Mall, played on the Dinosaur Playground and...

...Splurged and rode the South Towne Express. This was Ollie's favorite part as you can see.

We discovered the Gale Center (a free historical children's museum in South Jordan). Its great. Ollie loves "bawk bawk" chickens and loves to play in this wooden coop.

This little car is also a favorite

There is a cute old fashioned grocery store that Ollie doesn't seem to care about, but I like it. :)

This bridge is great fun for him to slide down. That 2 inch slope is about as much as my little "dare devil" can handle.

And don't forget the "tupperware" cupboard. He can play here for hours. I highly reccomend the Gale Center if you live nearby. Come go with me!

Ikea is always a great choice for a rainy day

Ollie went to his friend James birthday party and played in a bouncy house. He wasn't quite sure what he thought about it, but he did love the cake and bubbles for party favors.

And finally, we probably watched too much TV.

Favorite Movies of 2010

I'm a bit late on this post, but here are my favorites from last year. I referenced this list to make my selections: http://www.awardsdaily.com/2010/12/248-feature-films-eligible-for-best-picture/

I also need to state that I haven't seen True Grit yet and since I love all things Coen brothers I'm sure it will appear on this list as soon as I do see it.

This list isn't necessarily what I think are the "best pictures", but just the ones I enjoyed the most. 2010 seemed to me a year of movies I either loved or hated. Normally I have a hard time narrowing this list to 10, but I didn't this year.
