Hello again blogging world

These pictures are all so old...I am ridiculously behind.

 We had some favorite album covers blown up and printed for our wall. Anyone know and love these bands too? A prize for the person who can name them all.

I hesitate to post when I don't have pictures, but I feel like our kids are growing up so fast I wanted to jot down a few things.

Ollie is talking like crazy. Everything is a sentence now. He plays pretend (his cars talk to each other, go to the playground, get chased by the tractor he calls "Frank", get in fights, get sad and need cozies, etc) all the time. He is starting to play with other children instead of just near them. Unfortunately his 2 best little buddies moved last month (and their moms!) so we have been recruiting new play mates. Luckily we got a really cute video of Ollie and Esther playing cars together and actually having their cars interact for about 5 minutes. It was adorable. Ollie also memorizes all of the books we read him and songs too. He can sing ABCs, child of god, happy birthday...but its very hard to get him to do it. He also is a beast when he gets teeth and unfortunately has been getting a molar for the last week or so. Eeeh.

Henny is just the sweetest little thing ever. She sleeps through the night 8:00-7:30 about half the time but when its not the whole night its still about 8:00 - 5 am, eats and then goes right back to sleep. In the last week she has mastered the pincer grasp, passing food from hand to hand, feeding herself puffs and gerber wheels, saying "babababa", and has been a sitting up pro for 6 weeks or so. She does this great thing where she scrunches up her nose and breathes really fast and loud through her nose. She looks mischievous and hilarious when she does it. Oh and she got her first 2 bottom teeth last week within 2 days of each other and was fine. A little whiny and a lot drooly but no big deal (Ollie would wake up numerous times at night screaming for at least an hour solid for about 3 nights in a row each time before he got a tooth - YUCK.) She thinks Ollie is the greatest thing ever and I love driving in the car with them and hearing them just start laughing at each other in the back. Cute.

They are cute little ones. Will post pictures as soon as I remember to put my computer and my camera/phone cord in the same place.

Here You Go!

I changed Henny's diaper on the floor this morning and then went down the hall to wash my hands with her still laying on the floor. When I step out of the bathroom I see Ollie bending over to Henny and excitedly saying, "here you go!" I get all excited to see them interacting and Ollie sharing. I peek over the couch and see Henny, not quite 6 months, with a mouth full of Gerber puffs (at least 3, maybe 4) and Ollie excitedly pushing more in. She is just kicking her legs with glee and trying to keep from choking. So cute, but how do our kids not kill each other?

Little

I haven't given a Henny update in awhile. Henny is the nicest most mellow happy lovely baby ever. I don't even care if she grows up. She takes naps like she should, she eats for a normal amount of time, she cries only if there is an actual issue. (These are all things that Ollie couldn't figure out.)

She is however a lazy chub like her brother and is just barely figuring out how to roll over (at 5 months). She won't ever sit up because she wants to stand up ALL the time. It is hard to get her to laugh but she gives out smiles liberally. She is loving Ollie more and more each day and when she does give out a full belly laugh it is almost always in response to something goofy he is doing. Ollie then turns into a little ham and shows off trying to get her to laugh more. She is of course obsessed with the iPhone and has already changed my folder names, sent some texts, called some people and taken some turns in Hanging with Friends.  

Check out those chubby rolly thighs. I love that its warm enough for them to be exposed to my ready hands.
